Neil S. Tardiff is Of Counsel with Employer Advocates Group LC ("EAG") in San
Luis Obispo, where he concentrates on employment-related business litigation,
trial advocacy, and appellate advocacy. Mr. Tardiff is certified by the
State Bar of California as an Appellate Law Specialist. He is rated by the
Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory as "av," the highest rating given to attorneys
based on their legal ability and professional ethics, reliability and diligence.
Mr. Tardiff has over 25 years' experience practicing law on the Central Coast,
and has tried dozens of cases in a wide variety of matters.
Mr. Tardiff is a graduate of California Polytechnic State University at San Luis
Obispo (B.A., cum laude, 1976) and the University of the Pacific,
McGeorge School of Law (J.D., with distinction 1980). During law school,
Mr. Tardiff served as a judicial extern to California Supreme Court Justice
William P. Clark. Upon graduation from law school, he was given the West
Publishing Company Top Student Award, and was admitted to the Order of the Coif,
the national honor society of top law school graduates.
Prior to joining EAG in November 2006, Mr. Tardiff was a name partner in the San
Luis Obispo law firm of Smith & Tardiff (formerly Smith, Tardiff & Crandall).
From 1983 to 1998, he was the Managing Partner of the Santa Barbara law firm of
Tardiff & Associates.
